Propositions for Season 2010
Resolutions have been received from the following: -
GENERAL RULES
M. R. Staddon, CREWKERNE, will propose:
1) Delete General Rule 29 in its entirety.
Committee Note! The committee are against this proposition and find it unfavourable and financially detrimental to the club
RACING RULES
M. R. Staddon, CREWKERNE, will propose:
2) Racing Rule 2, Delete the words, "Any member wishing to enter a young bird with a ring number not issued by the N.F.C. will pay £5 per bird on top of the birdage to the marking station I/c official". The rest of the rule to remain the same.
Committee Note! The committee are against this proposition and find it unfavourable, financially detrimental to the club and limiting to the membership.
R & B Smith, WARRINGTON, will propose:
3) Racing Rule 26. Delete "60 minutes", and replace with, "30 minutes".
R & B Smith, WARRINGTON, will propose:
4) New Racing Rule. "All birds to be wing marked with a stamp for verification." Racing Rule 26, delete "60 minutes", and replace with, "30 minutes". Insert after, "number of the bird", the following, "wing stamp".
Committee Note! The committee are against this proposition due to time and practicalities.
CLOCK RULES
R & B Smith, WARRINGTON, will propose:
5) Delete Clock Rule 8 and replace with: - "All members not using official N.F.C. clock stations must register with the N.F.C. the local officials who will be responsible for setting and checking their clocks when completing their subscription form at the start of the season. All clocks to be set to makers instructions."
REFERENDUM
6) Do the membership wish for the management committee under Racing Rule 1 to consider competing in the Tarbes International race as the N.F.C. Grand National with the Entente Belge on Saturday 12th July for a 50p per bird supplement to the Entente Belge, where the N.F.C. will mark its own birds, send its own transporters, discuss with the appointed convoyer the weather conditions, where ETS users must also time into conventional clocks within ten minutes with a race rubber.
