How to use the service

 

A. Ring

B. Answer the operators questions as follows:-

·         What is your NFC Code number? ·         What is your birds clock time based on the 24 hour clock i.e. 0730 or 1930 according to timing in AM or PM ·         What is your birds ring number? ·         The operator will then give you a verification number to prove to your clock station that you have verified

Please note that Racing Rule 36 states:-

All members competing in the National Flying Club races must verify the time of clocking their first bird by ringing the official telephone number within 60 minutes, with the full ring number of the bird, clocking time and NFC code number. The system to be a premium rate number phone system run by the Secretary of the NFC and such staff as he/she considers necessary, who will input the information onto computers.

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS RULE WILL BE DISQUALIFICATION OF THE MEMBERS BIRDS FROM THE RACE.

For the Young Bird National and the Old Hens National races, members competing in both races must verify for both!

Liberation News will be on this line, as will early times both Open and Section as the race progresses. This information line once the race is in progress will be updated throughout the race, on each race right up to its closure. All this information will be generated from the race verification line. If members wish to verify more than their first pigeon they may do so.
