The first NFC raffle winner was Mr Ken Parkinson from Wigan. Ken is a keen long distance fancier and he was over the moon to have won such a good bird donated by Mark Gilbert.
Here is a photo of Mark's treble cock, the sire of the raffle pigeon.
The lucky ticket was sold by Eddie Froggatt at the Crewe marking station.
The raffle was well supported throughout the country and the NFC would like to thank all those who bought tickets and the members who to the time to sell them.
