The NFC Grand National pigeons have been liberated from Tarbes at 13.30 hours and cleared immediately into a fight path through France this afternoon, which is one of broken clouds and sunshine. Winds W/N/W.

Patchy rain will move westwards across northern France this evening and overnight. Any early morning rain soon clearing westwards with sunny periods developing. Channel is affected by isolated showers with good visibility. Southern England broken clouds and sunshine and a westerly wind. Thanks to our weather advisor, Steve Appleby. Message at 18:30 on 29th June: Unfortunately, the pigeons have had to move to Tarbes. The French Aviation Authority will not allow a liberation tomorrow from Pau, and only between 07:05 and 09:40 on Saturday, Sunday & Monday.
